Customer Rating: Summary: Very nice! Comment: They are wonderful. However it would have nice to know that I also needed to buy a brace to attach them. Perhaps you could put it under "customers that bought this also needed this" area. My husband had to use some creative engineering to attach them, but they're great!
Customer Rating: Summary: Best Baskets I've Ever Used Comment: These are really terrific baskets. I have no problem holding 2 bags of groceries in each one. I've owned 3 sets of these and there's never been any kind of failure. The mounting hardware can be a bit awkward to use and you may have to bend the brackets depending on your rack. You can easily get around that by using nylon cable ties like these ones - Nylon 6/6 Self Locking Cable Ties 8" L, 1 3/4" Max Bundle OD, 50lbs Tensile Str, MIL-S-23190E, Type I, Class I, Natural (Pack of 25) instead of the included hardware. I use 6 to attach each basket. Should you ever decide to remove the baskets it's also much easier to snip nylon cables than deal with rusty/dirty nuts & bolts.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great utility items for bike commutors. Comment: These baskets were delivered fast. They install with a minimum of fuss. The fold-up feature is great for my folding bike. They are light and sturdy. A great buy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great baskets! Comment: Great baskets. Connecting hardware very flimsey. Use small wire ties to avoid rattelling around. Otherwise, folks always ask me, where did you get those baskets? Amazon and Wald!
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Baskets...... Comment: These work great; they do not rattle, they fold out of the way, carry a lot of stuff and are unobtrusive. I did use some zip ties (in addition to the regular mounting hardware) to secure them to the bike frame, which probably helped with any noise problem. They perfectly hold a paper grocery bag and I have brought home some pretty heavy loads.
So, why not 5 stars? I got the "silver" baskets because my bike is silver. Well, they are really "galvinized" which is not quite what I was expecting. I didn't dislike this enough to send them back for the black ones and I've gotten used to it, but be aware of that.
I highly recommend these.

The Wald 582 sets the standard for ingenuity when it comes to rear baskets. Mounting to the side of almost any rear rack, this nimble basket is the perfect size for packing 1-2 bags of groceries while balancing your load. When not in use, the base of the basket pivots up allowing the side walls to collapse. A simple clamp at the top of the side panels keeps everything secured while the basket is folded up to one inch thick
