Customer Rating: Summary: What can I say... Comment: What can I say... other then that it is 2008, I am in my mid 20's and I still love everything about Sailor Moon. If you enjoyed watching Sailor Moon in the mornings... early 90's, then you will enjoy all the Edited VHS videos.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sadly, Kaorinite's Finale!....For Now. Comment: These are, hands-down, my favorite episodes in the Sailor Moon S series. Apparently, the scripts for all 3 were pretty much dead-on most of the time! The monsters featured in the movie were also pretty cool. But aside from that, these episodes stood out as less silly and comedic, and it's nice to have episodes like that every once in a while, especially when a villian is going to be dying! Speaking of which, this is when Kaorinite is finally killed and doomed to the depths of Tokyo Tower....at least for now, as you will see later in the series. These episodes are essential to the overall plot and are absolute masterpieces. A must-buy!
Customer Rating: Summary: Serena's birthday leads to a big fight Comment: This is the edited version of Sailor Moon S's forth volume. This is the one of the major volumes of the season.
Episode 93: Individual Happiness - Mina begins to feel depressed about her lack of a social life. Everyone around her seems to have a boyfriend and things to do. Sadly, Mina remembers her life before Sailor V when she played volleyball. She briefly comtemplates leaving the sailor scouts until an old volleyball friend of her's is targeted by a heart snatcher.
Episode 94: Birthday Blues part 1 - It's Serena's birthday and no one seems to care. Darien, who never knew when Serena's birthday was, rushing to her. However, Kaori Night and her heart snatcher has targeted Serena this time. Before long, Kaori has stolen Serena's transformation broach and Tuxedo Mask has been captured.
Episode 95: Birthday Blues part 2 - Despite argument from the other scouts, Serena rushes off on her own to save Tuxedo Mask. She gets a ride from Amara and Michelle who ask her about sacrifice. Serena begins to realize who Amara & Michelle really are. Serena confronts Kaori and it is revealed that her pure heart is not what they are looking for. The other scouts arrive and a final showdown between the seven scouts & Kaori occurs.
Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty good dub!! Comment: This dubbed version is great. Just like a reviewer before stated, "a trip down memory lane" is what happens to me when I watch these dubbed epoisodes. In fourth grade, I started watching the dubbed epoisodes and later on found out about the orignal epiosodes. (Ihave the first three complete seasons ,subtitled) Sure, the orignal versions are better, but these ones still are good. I suggest buying this tape!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Birthday Blues Comment: Ok. I like this. But some of the reviews talk about the uncut subtitled version. If you want to review that, go find the item that is the uncut subtitled version! This item is the dubbed only! Episodes: Individual Happiness Birthday Blues, Part 1 Birthday Blues, Part 2 If you have this and know the episodes as: Retire as a Sailor Soldier?! Minako's Concern Usagi In Tears! Glass Shoes for her Birthday The Pure Heart Stolen! Usagi's Biggest Crisis! then you are in the wrong place! This is for the dub. Ok, on to the real review. I used to love this. I have had this for a few years, and just now I got Sailor Moon S Heart Collection 2 (or whatever it's called) and it had these episodes on it. What confuses me about that DVD is that in the titles, it still calls them by the Japanese names, even though it's the dub. Same in the credits. Oh well, it's still great! I know people like the uncut subtitled versions of Sailor Moon, but I tried it and after a few minutes, was freaked out by it! I thought it was really weird, although that might have been because it was my first time ever doing a subtitled thing (unless you count the Chobits opening and closing songs).
