Customer Rating: Summary: Nostalgic Christmas Purchase Comment: As an avid collector of Christmas CDs, I was excited to see this re-make of a 33rpm I owned years ago. This is delightfully fun music to awaken the memory of Christmas Past! The quality is excellent; if you listen carefully you can hear the mechanism movements of the boxes themselves. The fast-paced brillance and unusual harmony of the rendition of Jingle Bells is worth the purchase of this CD.
Customer Rating: Summary: Christmas music cd Comment: A Music Box Christmas is an entire CD of music boxes playing Christmas songs. It's beautiful. No vocals, only real music boxes. I enjoy letting it play softly throughout the holidays on my indoor and outdoor speakers as beautiful holiday background music to our festivities. I highly recommend it.
Customer Rating: Summary: This Takes Me Back To A Happy Time Comment: My mother played this when I was young. It takes me back to a happy childhood and reminds me of Christmas memories where love, warmth, and caring were shared more abundantly than expensive gifts.
This CD sounds as good as the vinyl LP

Customer Rating: Summary: Another Great Victorian Christmas Sound Comment: This is my second of the series and I can say it is every bit as good as the first one. Just makes you feel happy and relaxed, like a kid at christmas
This brings to mind a Victorian Christmas. I used to collect music boxes but gew tired of dusting them. This takes up much less space and the sounds are fantastic, much better than any box I ever had.
A must for a Victorian Setting Home
Customer Rating: Summary: Nostalgic CD Comment: Our kids are adults now, but when they're home they still love to wake up to music on Christmas morning. Our traditional album was Rita Ford's A Music Box Christmas, Vol 2 on cassette tape (it finally died!). So this past year I went in search for it on CD. I purchased Rita Ford's A Music Box Christmas, Vol 1 from Amazon because I could not find a reasonably priced copy of Vol 2. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because Vol 1 set a memorable tone for Christmas morning at our house but wasn't quite perfect. The quality was excellent; it simply lacked some sentimental value.
